ETCF PROJECTS CALL

The Call for Conservation and Sustainable Rural Development 2023 published by FONCET with the support of the El Triunfo Conservation Foundation, called on Civil Society organizations and community-based organizations that work on the Coast of Chiapas and Oaxaca to apply for its 2023 call, to receive non-reimbursable resources (donations) and thus support the project of the fishing and aquaculture, cocoa and community tourism productive chains.


We received 8 proposals: community tourism (1), fishing and aquaculture (5) and the cocoa agroforestry system (2). Of these, six went to the evaluation process, and four of them passed the quality limit. After a selection process by the Evaluation and Award Committee of the El Triunfo A.C. Conservation Fund. Finally one was selected to be financed.We congratulate the Oaxacan Fund for Nature Conservation for its proposal “Community Ecotourism in Huatulco: Implementation of sustainable practices, monitoring and restoration of biodiversity.”

SMALL GRANTS DONATIONS PROGRAM

Within the framework of the Prosperous and Sustainable Communities (CPS) project financed by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Mexico, through its Small Donations (PPD), the El Triunfo A.C. Conservation Fund. (FONCET A.C.) and The Nature Conservancy (TNC), call on community-based organizations (CBOs) located in the landscapes of the Yucatán Peninsula (see eligible municipalities), Sierra Sur de Oaxaca and Sierra Madre de Chiapas interested in obtaining non-profit financing. reimbursable for the implementation of productive projects with emphasis on groups of women and young people seeking to transition or scale towards sustainable practices, access markets and financing.
