ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION
Environmental education has been a crucial activity for us since the early years of working in communities. We have done everything possible to inspire attitude changes in children and youth towards nature: Workshops, recycling projects, outdoor cinema, comics, and theater and puppet shows. In recent years, we have been promoting workshops to train young people from these regions to write scripts for puppet theater, build puppets, and create sets to present these stories in their communities. These groups have been widely accepted, with young people from the community themselves delivering a message of conservation in a fun and playful manner.

In collaboration with Vientos Culturales AC and Cocuyo Teatro, we have developed a training and equipment methodology for young people from remote communities within Protected Natural Areas. This project provides these young individuals with an interesting opportunity for personal development, self-expression, and self-employment. At the same time, it aims to educate the residents of the same community and neighboring communities in a fun way about environmental topics that concern all users of environmental services within the Reserves, promoting sustainable use of water, forests, clean air, and more.
